Dual Processors - What projects/applications would benefit greatly from DP?

I read somewhere online that Graphics benefit from Dual Processors vs. lets say a Word Processing program? Does Audio production benefit from Dual Processing? When is dual processing used optimally? Rather what type of projects or combinations of?

It all depends on if the Application in question has been optimized for dual processors. So it's not down to what type of app it is, it's down to how the developers programmed it AFAIK.
