Hi all,

Basically I am trying to achieve something but it is proving very difficult.

I want to play video files through a projector, from my macbook, I have set up the projector etc... and got it all ramped up, got a movie file (playing through quicktime), have moved it over to the projector screen, but when I make quicktime full screen my macbooks screen goes black... how do I stop this?

Also, could you tell me if I can get the controls for the quicktime player on my mac screen as i cant seem to move them off the projector screen?

Thanks

James

Mountain Lion's Full-Screen mode strikes again. (I'm assuming you're using ML, since Quicktime doesn't do this in Snow Leopard.)

Basically you have to use a different video player. One that doesn't use ML's native Full-Screen mode but instead goes Full-Screen in the current desktop. This way the desktop is still visible on the monitor.

Sorry, I don't know which ones do this in ML, since I'm sticking with SL for now.

Hopefully someone else will suggest one.
