1. I have a TV connected to my MacBook and it’s currently set to extend the desktop rather than mirror the MacBook. I’ve noticed that when I’m in full screen on my Mac and click a link to open a new window, it opens on the TV desktop. Can I force OS X to keep opening new windows on my Mac’s display instead?

2. Is there a keyboard shortcut that can instantaneously move a window from one screen to the other?

I use a tool called „Power Mover“ for years now. Still works with Mojave. CTRL-D moves the active Window between displays.

I have to correct myself here - in Catalina, Power Mover keeps hogging my CPU for some reason. I was glad to find that the window manager tool Magnet lets me switch windows to the next display using CTRL+OPT+CMD+RIGHT ARROW.
