Usually outside of China or HK you can get dual sim functionality only by combining a physical sim + esim (but you can store multiple esims on a phone, only one can be active at any time)

now, in HK you can use two physical sim cards at the same time but do you have the esim functionality on top of that? I know in China you don’t have esim at all but HK models do come with esim functionality as far as I understand, meaning you should be able to switch between two physical sim cards or a physical one + esim?
Anyone with experience on this matter? Thanks

Very helpful - id rather stick with the esim model then - seems more versatile.
