im getting the iPhone XS and will have a BT SIM card in the phone. When dual sim is enabled I want to add the EE sim as an eSim to allow enablement of Apple Watch account pairing. Will this work do you think?
It will be interesting to see how this plays out, honestly. What I imagine will happen is this:
When the watch is connected to the iPhone via bluetooth, calls from both numbers will be able to be answered on the watch, as will text messages.
When the watch is not connected to the phone and on a cellular connection, only calls/texts to the phone number that shares the data plan will be received.
iMessages may prove to be the exception, allowing the watch to receive iMessages for both phone numbers due to the watch's persistent data connection. That might be dependent on whether both phone numbers are tied to the same iCloud account.
