iPhone XS Dual Sim issues

Is anyone else having issues? I just added a "Work" line to my phone and I find that it is a bit sporadic when it comes to how it works using two lines.. I have personal as my default. But I just added a few contacts for Work, and I chose work as their line of choice. I texted one and it said Work on the screen before I hit send. But when I go to info for the thread it says personal is being used for this conversation. That kind of sucks because I don't want these people having my personal phone #, that's the whole reason I got the second line. I also find that when I add a new contact and choose Work for the default.. sometimes I need to edit a few times before it saves it as Work. After I choose work, it changes to personal! The concept is awesome.. but only if it works as intended. Is there a way to change an existing conversation from one line to another? I didn't see anything obvious. But I am guessing this one I just sent used my personal. And I need it to use my work! Any tips? Anyone else having similar issues?
