I have two Samsung SSD (860) one is 1 TB the other is 2 TB. I looking for a powered USB C case that would fit both of then in a non raid setup. It looks like most of them out there are bussed powered. Looking over the power requirements for the SSDs it seems they will draw more power that the 900mA my 2019 iMac can provide. Any recommendations?

I thought tb3 (and maybe newer USB devices ?) could draw more power. I still have an old fw800 dual mechanical drive, it works fine over bus power.

There is this, but it is only USB3 speed:

or this:
which can be used as RAID 0, 1, SPAN, and Independent drive mode

I've been using the Oyen Digital Minipro Dual Bay SSD for about a year now, and am quite pleased with its build quality and performance. It can be externally powered or bus powered, power adapter included, and the USB-C interface is USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbs and TB3 compatible). It has RAID capability, but I just use it as JBOD and the drives appear in Finder as two individual drives. There is one port on my CalDigit TS3+ dock that is USB 3.1 Gen2, and I use that to plug in the Oyen Digital enclosure.

This is an extremely high quality product. You really can't go wrong with this.

Although I don't have the Oyen Digital dual-bay enclosure, I have a single-bay USB3 enclosure.
Agree with others above about the quality -- it's built like a tank, never a problem.

Curious... Why is there no 2.5" enclosures with TB3/4 connectivity...? Only USB-C everywhere... Would love to pair one with SATA SSD...

Probably because a USB3 at 5 Gbps (625 MB/s) exceeds the speed of a 2.5" ssd, which run at about 550 MB/s. You would need a RAID to need TB3 with 2.5" SSD's, and those do exist.
