DualHead2Go resolution?

I want to get a Matrox DualHead2go digital or analog. My problem is this... I have two 19 inch widescreen monitors, with total resolution being 2880 x 900... according to the Matrox website, that resolution only works on windows systems. I have heard of many people getting the "windows only" features to work on a mac. Is this resolution possible? I would really like to use the monitors that i have at their best resolutions. Thanks
