dude what just happened to my macbook pro monitor?

I get up to use the bathroom - i sit down and I get this crap. This is hurtin' me eyes! I need to do work on this machine...

FYI this is a 2.4ghz Penryn system. aaaah so annoying - applecare, here i come

Yea just reboot, it will go away. That happened to me in my first day of owning a Mac, and I got extremely nervous. I did what I always do when Windows messes up and rebooted the machine. Never happened again.

It shouldn't of happened in the first place:rolleyes:
 
I had the same problem with mine new MBP my was less than a month old, how old is yours? because when I took it to store here in the Boca Raton they told me that I was getting my computer replace because that is an issue that MAC hasn't made official, so don't hesitate take the computer they should fix it or replace it !!!! Look mine :eek:

I think the problem has to do with power/sleep.

It happened to me once when I accidentally yanked out the magsafe. I put the computer to sleep and it went away.
