So i've been googling around and can't find a definitive answer. Since the 6s/6s+ can shoot 4K video, I guess you can just wifi it via AppleTV to your 4K enabled tv? But, can AppleTV handle 4K video? Or do you need to upload to YouTube and then watch it?

Nope. With YouTube compression you're not really getting the full HD experience (again, as far as I'm aware). 4K to me is just future proofing because there isn't a huge market/accessibility for it just yet.

I thought YouTube can handle 4K video. So I'm guessing then you have to use iMovie (on the phone or Mac) or Final Cut?

Oh don't get me wrong, it can. But I'm not sure it's true 4K from some of the videos I've been seeing. But again this is just my (very) uneducated understanding of it lol.
