I have an iPad Air with the T-Mobile free data plan. I am going to sell it since I don't use it as much as I should and I'm getting the 6+ which will definitely eliminate any need I had for the iPad. Do I take the T-Mobile sim card out before I sell it? Is there anything I need to do to terminate my "plan" with T-mobile so that the buyer can use it?

1. Call Tmobile and cancel.
2. Remove sim.
2. Wipe the device / restore.
4. Take it off your icloud - basically make sure its no longer listed as your device. This will allow the seller to activate it.
5. Sell it.

Before you disconnect it from the network (you can do it over Wifi too), make sure to turn off Find my Ipad in the iCloud settings. It has to be connected to the internet for the change to take effect on Apple's servers. It needs to do that to be able to be activated by the next person, too :)
