Dumb question about the Fusion Drive

Here's something I've been wondering about the Fusion Drive and I can't find anyone asking this question, probably because it's dumb...

Is a 1TB Fusion Drive a 1TB drive plus a 128GB SSD for a total of 1TB and 128 GB of space or is a 1TB Fusion Drive a 128GB SSD + a 872GB drive for a total of 1TB of space?

I know the Optical Disc and the SSD are supposed to look like one drive together in OSX so I'm just wondering how big that drive is.

Correction: It appears as 1.12TB of storage.
