Dumb question, i cant figure out

EVERYTIME i type the word "that" it comes up "tgat" is there anyway to customize any words so it will autocorrect it ? I know older b berry phone had this option but cant seem to find it ..

Like most smartphones the iPhone has a memory and if you type something enough it remembers it. That is what has occurred, this has happened to me several times. Normally what I do is go into settings, general, reset, Reset Keyboard Dictionary. This does nothing more than clear all words that you've kind of created over time and will take it back to factory auto correct settings. This is the only way to solve your problem.
