Dumb question, is there a way too get a light scratch out of a metal band?

I know what you mean. The metal band is something I worry about because I'm afraid it will wear off and get all grey and black.

It's my understanding that the metal band is made of stainless steel. How will stainless "wear off and get all gray and black"?

As far as getting out light scratches...personally I would live with them rather than risking more scratches while trying a fix.

But, then, I'm a klutz and would undoubtedly botch it. Perhaps someone here can give you a botch proof fix.
