Hi, I am a longtime lurker on the forums, love the information and the support. So take it easy on the new guy.:D

I just got a new 5s and I am in the process of packing up my 4s to sell, but I have managed to get the wall adapters mixed up. Not the cables, mind you. The adapters that plug into the wall that look identical, run off the same specs, but model numbers are different.

I think:

the 4s is A1385

the 5s is A1265

Could someone with a new 5 take a second and check their model number on their adapter? I am sure it is no big deal, but I don't want to send off the wrong plug.

Thank you kindly.

I highly doubt any one you'd sell the phone to would care. I sell phones and didn't even realize the adapters had different model numbers. lol

My new 5S power box is model A1385.

Why would you think the lower number was the newer model? Lol.

And you guys are missing the point. The OP would like to KEEP the NEWER power plug.

Wow!

I didn't even take the one that came with my 5s out of the box!!

I've got 2 here that I'm using, one from my 4S and one from my 5 and I certainly couldn't tell you which was which! LOL
