I'm trying to enter an appointment in iCal. I open the calendar, click on the date, then New Event, then I enter the name of the person, say "Joe." Then I lick on "get Info," "edit" and correct the time, say "11:15". Then when i click "done" "11:15" remains but the name "Joe" disappears. What am I not doing?

Do you hit Enter/Return before going to edit?
P.S. Don't LICK the computer :D:D

If I were home, I'd check on my iCal. However, I am at work on this lame PC. I don't ever recall having this problem though. I create a New Event on a particular day, then doublc click it. It opens the info on the right side. Then I enter name of event, and change time there.

Thanks. It's no big deal. i have several other calendars I can choose from. I'm just trying to figure out what my misstep is.

Sorry, I could not duplicate your problem either

I couldn't duplicate your problem either.

I just double click the date and bypass the edit button.
