I see the bands are different and from reading posts assume there are Hermes faces only. What else am I missing? There is a leap to go Hermes financially but what do you get for that leap? Tia terry

Hermès Ultra 3 has exclusive watch faces, and different engravings on the back.

Hermès watch bands can be bought separately.

Apple Care+ for Hermès Ultra costs more, but that's a three-year plan.

I've gone U3 Hermes this time as it was a toss up between keeping my U2 & upgrading my S7 Hermes to an 11 or keeping my S7 and upgrading the U2. Best of both worlds for me if I get the U3 Hermes, as I get the faces on both watches and straps. It is a premium on the standard, but if you are going to keep it for a few years (my S7 is now 4 years old) it may be worth it to some.

The Hermes band and Hermes screen is the only difference. In my opinion, the Hermes looks nice but, it is very overpriced for the meager offering.
Yeah I do feel the S11 Hermes is slightly better 'value' (lol I use the word lightly) as you get a shiny exclusive Titanium case, strap and extra warranty. With the U3, you get just the faces, strap and warranty. Visually the watch is the same.

I pre ordered my U3 this morning and I just couldn’t justify it. It’s $500+ more just to say I have a Hermes. I do like the bands a lot more, it’s just not worth the extra $500+ to me.

So the exterior color of the U3 and Hermes U3 are the same? The Hermes U3 isn't more shiny? Supposedly, the Hermes S11 is more shiny than the S11.

I like the new bands a lot, but not more than the Ultra 3 with the Ti mesh, especially not for that extra cost. Maybe if it came with a polished case, I would consider it over the regular ultra 3.

the U3H will not have all the same faces as the AWH. So there is no best of both worlds.

No, the Hermes model isn't polished longer and/or shinier.

I did see a difference between the Series 5 space black steel and Series 6 space black Hermes, but it turned out the Series 6 black overall just leaned more towards the Graphite hue than a deep, crystal-display-off-black.

No, other than the “Hermes” engraving on the back, there are no physical differences. Unless one must have the Hermes exclusive watch face and bands (can be purchased separately), otherwise it’s a bad value compare to the normal Ultra.

I have the Hermes Ultra 2, but I ended up almost never use the Hermes watch face, still sticking with photos watch face, so won’t be buying Hermes Ultra 3, going for the regular version.

It is a different colour (Edit: for the Series Watches). Regular Ti colour is „natural“, Hermès Ti colour is „silver“. The Hermès one basically matches the earlier stainless steel tone while the „natural“ is a bit darker and warmer.

I think the guy was talking about ultra. For ultra model both the regular version and Hermes version are “natural titanium”.

The latter is true, but in context the poster was clearly talking about the Series Watches, because they are indeed polished.

To be fair, from a financial point of view neither the Series nor the Ultra Hermes are 'worth it' over a standard AW, but to some (me included) they are from a non financial view. I love the faces, the straps and the look.

Each to their own.
