I haven't used Time Machine in quite awhile and bought some more RAM recently so I wanted to use Time Machine to back up everything. However, the reason why I stopped using Time Machine late last year was because I had problems with my iMac not restarting (long story, but there was a problem with a Chrome update that cause my computer not to boot up if I remember correctly.) Now, I ended up restoring everything manually (I don't remember why exactly though) and was looking to back it up again, but was afraid that because it is has been so long since I backed up via Time Machine that it would erase all those old backs up I had on Time Machine and only leave me a few weeks worth of backups.
Also, is there an easier way to compare the backups on my folders in time machines to what I have now just to make sure I have all the files and nothing got corrupted?
Sorry if these are dumb questions or if I am wording this in a confusing way.
