I don't so much need help installing windows on my mac I have already done it a few times but I've been curious about something. I have the last year for the Black Body Mac Laptop so I already get enough of peoples attention when I take it out due to how 'rare' they are for where I live because everyone is use to the white body or the new aluminum body. But I had the Idea of redropping windows on after my friend is done borrowing it and I wanted other peoples opinions on how to install it. I have done it 2 ways so far: 1) the mac bootcamp feature which caused my windows side to be a) small b) laggy c) horrible FPS [I could play castle crashes mac side gorgesouly 30fps windows side got me a nice bright 10-15fps] d) regular over heating and fan reving to attempt to keep temp at safe levels. My 2nd attempt at it I decided to try for a full system wipe and installed windows as the new main OS (I stumbled upon the fact I could this on accident but i read it had something to do with the fact I have an intel chip) doing it this way fixed all but the last issue of the temp but it still wasnt as hot as the duo boot. The flaw with having just windows is some features wont work (I believe the function keys became useless even if I did command+F#)
But on the other hand I might just turn it into a Linux Box (Ubuntu probably) but I'm not sure if it would/could work the same way for the install so advice or help or even opinions on that would be nice.
I'm sorry I cant post the system specs right now like I said before my friend has the Mac ATM so if that would be a needed fact to help me I apologize now for wasting anyone's time
