i have 2 laptops. one is older with the intel duo core, the newer with the duo core 2. both are the 13.3 white macbooks around 1-2 years old. could i simply swap the hard drives out and there be no issues? both boot up just fine? or would the macbooks, when installed, have put something in there to make it differant on each model?

i want to be able to take the hard drives, swap them out and go. no configuring on anything.. is this possible??
