duplicate app icon appeared after apps store update ,how to remove but not accidentally uninstall the actual apps?

Where is that duplicate icon exactly? Is it in the Dock? If so, just drag it off, as it won't delete the actual application it links to.

i once delete the apps to the trash when i move it out from the launch pad to tracy and it cause my game apps to be left at there until now I don't don't how to restore back my game,I'm without TM.

guys how do i put back those delete game file from the trash ? all my save file is still there and i can't do any restore.

Right-click on the file in the trash and select "Put back"

can't I have tried that, it was grey out. so far I have re-install the game and I tried to search for the save file so that I could replace it with the old one that contained those saved game but not able to throughout finder.
