Hello, I am at my wit's end. I need a duplicate file finder to open up disk space but all I can find are incompatible with my Macbook, which is 10.5.8. Massive kudos and thanks to anyone who can help me with a good software.

I found a java-based app on sourceforge. Dunno how well it works but it should do whatever it does on your OS.
I've used dupeGuru for years and it has worked well for me. Here's the link. There are links for versions going back to 10.4
It is now open sourced but I paid anyway.
