I'm a long time PC-user that switched to Mac recently. I have a 1.5TB NTFS external hard drive and the end-goal is to reformat this to HFS+ (by copying contents to Mac Mini hard drive, formatting, then copying back to external)(using paragon ntfs). My current hurdle is that the Disk Utility sees my hard drive as using 321GB but when Finder calculates the size of the "My Documents" folder, it's 504GB alone. Drilling down deeper in my iTunes folder, i have an "itunes Media" folder and "iTunes Media" folder (pay attention to the capitalization). Both folders have identical contents and finder sees the exact same sizes (178.12GB). I have a sneaking suspicion that if i delete one of them, they will both be gone. I need to get rid of the "ghost" folder. Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas? Thanks!
