Can anyone recommend the best program to locate and provide a delete option for duplicate photos. I have over 100,000 images of which at least 20-25% are duplicates. Going through the process one-by-one is out of the question.
I believe both Aperture and Lightroom have the ability to sort and stack photos according to capture time (with variable settings for how close together the moments in time should be). They won't automatically delete anything, but you'll end up with convenient stacks and can then dump whichever photos in the stacks you do not wish to keep.

It works for every type of file, and is really fast in finding 100% duplicates. It looks to the content. If the name or resource fork is different, it will still see the file itself is the same.
