Hey guys,

I own 2 Mac computers, a 15" MBP with TouchBar running HighSierra and a 13" Macbook Aluminium running an older version of OS X which is not compatibile with text message forwarding.

It seems that my 15" is shown twice in Settings / Messages / Text Messages Forwarding, as seen in the first screenshot, however when i check my devices list in my Apple ID management page it's not duplicated. Check the second screenshot.

This is a 8 Plus which was set up as new, running 11.0.3.

I've seen this too.

turn forwarding off for iMessage and then log out of iCloud on the 15"
wait a few mins
sign back into icloud on the 15"
go to iMessage forwarding on your phone, the 15" should only then be listed once.

This, or it usually goes away after a few days naturally. I went from a macbook to a macbook pro. The macbook showed for a few days and then finally went away. It happens sometimes if you reformat your drive too.
