Hi All,
Working my way through options to back up specific notes, in case of accidental deletions of paragraphs in notes etc.
NB: Ideally, I want the backup available to all apple devices, incase on the road etc.
The most hassle free, easiest way I've worked out is:
1. Duplicate the Note in question, in APPLE NOTES.
2. Move the duplicate to a separate 'backup' folder
3. Make sure file opens, then leave it there!
I've tested so far:
1. Works with password protect files - just need to type in the password once to copy across.
2. I've tried changing the original file - The changes have not sync'ed to the duplicate copy in the backup folder, and its been 20 minutes so far... I'll look again tomorrow morning.
3. I've tried archive folder on cloud as well as 'on my mac'
However, will the changes to the original note eventually make its way to the backup copies? or are the backup copies completely independent files once created?
Hope you can advise
Martin
