Duplicating Songs

Hi all,

I have an Apple TV and it's set to stream from my MBP rather than store anything on it's HDD.

I have so far only purchased one album from the iTunes store through the ATV but every time that I open iTunes on my MBP since the ATV sends the purchase to the MBP. I now have about 6 copies of the same songs on the MBP.

How do I stop it doing this?
