Hi all,
Yesterday I opened my late-2013 rMBP and there were two small black marks, seemingly behind the display. They were not there before (I'm pretty OCD about the display so they pained me to see). They look to me like dust rather than a dead-pixel given the shape.
I thought this would be a thing of the past now the monitor is laminated to the glass. Can dust still get into the panel between the LCD and backlight diffuser (not sure if that is even possible)?
It's over a year old, but I do have AppleCare. I'm cautious to take it in after some bad repairs before (this Mac was an outright replacement of my old MBP). Also, people still seem to be fretting about the colour-tinting of panels... is this still an actual issue?
Thanks for any help... sorry if this has been covered before!
