Hi everyone, I'm new here at mac rumors and have a small issue with my iPhone 4 case.

So, wanting to keep my phone absolutely pristine, i bought a Krussell case for it (Similar to this: http://www.cancomuk.com/images/products/77/8220797/102777/large.jpg)
It has plastic sides on the case which snaps onto the side of the phone with cutouts for the various buttons. My problem is that dirt and dust is finding its way past the plastic clip and getting trapped underneath, between the case and the phone. I've already torn a nail removing the damn thing, so i wanted to know if theres a way to stop the dirt from getting past?

Thanks :)

Probably not but, what you can do is buy antenna wraps so that the antenna doesn't get scratched when the dust comes in between the case and the metal band.

No, the antenna is fine because its protected by the plastic sides of the case. But, the problem is where it meets the bottom and top of the phone, where the case actually ends. What i mean is the plastic part doesn't go all the way around, it just covers the top and bottom, and back.

I used to have an Otterbox Defender Series case that completely encased my iPhone 4. The case was excellent for protection but I had probs with dirt as well, also with putting people on mute with my cheek. The case covered the the Proximity Sensor so when I made calls the display would not sleep during calls.

I fixed both problems by switching to the Otterbox Commuter series. Still great protection, quality rubber case rapped by a hard shell, slap on their screen protecter ( which is the best in my opinion), and you have a pretty safe case, protects you from scratches. As close to a completely encased iPhone as I could find. Good Luck. ;)
