I had a thread in the imac section about the dust and dirt buildup on the inside of the glass. It seems that this issue can develop even as soon as 4 months. Apple will replace the screen but it happens all over again. during the discussion someone had posted some links that it was actually happening with the thunderbolt displays as well. This shocked me because there is no air circulating in the TBD. Has anyone developed this issue and is there anything that can be done about it like sealing the edges with masking tape.

Well, there is actually a fan inside the thunderbolt display. I've never heard mine though, I don't know if it's just spinning very slowly or not at all. But.. there is a fan anyway.

I forgot that because it was an IPS display it likely does have a fan. I still wonder if tape or something would help. at the very least I hope its easier to clean.
