Just got a replacement MBP, and noticed there is some kind of dust or buildup in the speaker grille.
This is a bad photo but its the white stuff in the top left. I've tried poking it with a pin and it doesn't budge.
Any idea of how to clean this, or should I send it in again... Its not really that nice to look at.

Get an unused soft toothbrush and give it a really gentle scrub. Pop a trace of isopropyl alcohol on the brush head if it's a touch stubborn. Only judging by the photograph, it shouldn't be too difficult to get rid of.

Best case scenario: report it to Apple now, try to clean it without risking liquid damage, or ask for their permission first if you're particularly on the fence – if it doesn't work, you're getting it returned anyway. If you fix it, no need for concern.
