I had my first ever screen protector fitted to my 7 yesterday by Apple. Still getting used to it. I have noticed tiny specs of dust under the protector in direct sunlight. Otherwise you can't see them in all other lighting conditions. Is it to much to expect that absolutely no dust should get under the screen protector? Thanks

For the price and guarantee, I don't think it's too much to ask. My opinion isn't the one that matters though. I'm not sure what the terms and conditions of the installation are.

I'm going to go back to Apple tonight and see what they say or get it removed. Could the screen be damaged by removing the protector? Thanks

Please report back what happened. Curious to know what the outcome from the store is. Thanks

No questions asked type of policy?

I have never had any issues. I purchased a film screen protector a few years ago, for either my 5 or 5s, and then returned it a few days later after it was installed and purchased a glass protector. They didnt give me any issues.

And if the OP actually has noticeable dust underneath the glass that Apple installed themselves, I cant see them giving him a problem.

Good to hear/know. I always do it myself, but glad they take care of it.

For this particular screen protector, Apple actually has a device that assists in the install so that it is aligned perfectly every time. They only need to make sure your screen is clear of dust and debris.

Yeah, I've seen that in the store and in the threads. Makes me wonder how the dust got under the OP's protector or how bad it could be.
