Once apon a time i was doing photography and i was using slides and films.
It was strongly adviced to never leave roll of undevelopped film (exposed or not) in the luggage and always take then in the cabin to avoid the strong X-Ray scaning. of course this was the same problem with post.
I know these are different technologies (film and tape) but has there been any report or experienced of tape being damaged by the powerful x-ray or can we leave our tapes in the luggage and send them through post safely?
