Please help. I need to get some audio from a dvd for a project at school. I have a dual 1 G4, iTunes 3 (iLife), and a Dazzle DV interface. I would think that would be all I need, but I can't seem to figure it out.

I thought about extracting the audio in iMovie then making a QTime file out of it then importing it into iTunes...or something like that.

detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated!

By the way, I want it in MP3 format so I can also put it on my iPod.

I would do it this way.

I would rent a DVD player, hook it up to Dazzle DV, import the movie into iMovie, export it as QuickTime movie. Then all you have to do is drag the QuickTime movie into iTunes window, which will then turn your QuickTime movie sound into MP3 and put it in the iTunes Library.
