Hello,

I have a couple of DVD-Audio discs and would like to get them on my iPod...any way to do this. I have a Powerbook and I assume this will come into play if possible.

Thanks.

wow. didn't know that people actually used those.... Never saw them in a store and only read about DVD audio discs once or twice online...

I'm pretty sure iTunes can rip from Audio-DVDs.

It can't. It's a real pain to rip them - MTR -> mAC3dec -> iTunes -> iPod. Plus you can only play the lower-quality AC3 tracks, not the high-quality MLP.

The easiest way I've found (and I use the term advisedly) is to record the tracks into a hi-res recording system like Protools with a digital interface connection.

It's all real-time, and you need to bounce the tracks back to the HD before you can put them into iTunes and onto the iPod.

Doesn't seem worth it really.
