Hi Folks,
With our software product, when you insert the DVD into the drive, the main menu auto-runs - that is, the main menu will pop up without the user having to find and double-click on the DVD on the desktop/left panel. We currently use a feature in FileStorm by MindVision to do this. However, this doesn't work in Mountain Lion using our current methods.
Previous to 10.6 we were using a little utility app called AutoOpen, however, this stopped working from 10.7, hence moving to FileStorm. AutoOpen is PPC, so won't work on 10.8 at all.

Has this intentionally been disabled, perhaps as a security measure in 10.8?
If not, how would I go about achieving this in Mountain Lion?
(Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, this is the closest that I could find to the subject matter).
I believe it is achieved by listing a directory in the HFS+ header, but I've no idea how to go about this.

Cheers,
S.
