I'd like to backup a few of my DVDs including a few Region 2s I want to change to Region 1 or Region Free. I really like the simplicity of DVDBackup and I use it when I travel to save battery life but although I have Toast, I don't have a SuperDrive in my iBook.
Is there a way to use the burner in my Windows XP machine to burn these discs (I haven't found a good way to rip DVDs in Windows yet). I use an LG DVD burner with Nero 6.

Thanks for any help

Yes, you can burn a DVD image file (in ISO format) created with a Mac using a PC. You just need to transfer the file to the PC and burn as usual. As for PC rippers, try DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink, both are excellent and free.

Thanks for the help guys, that's exactly what I needed to know.
