dvd burner

I am interested in adding an internal DVD burner to my g4 tower (dual1.25). I was wondering if anybody has any recommendations.

If you can use and IDE DVD Burner, then newegg.com has a Lite-On which I have in my PC for about $65. BTW. The Lite-On works well.

Getting a Pioneer will give you native support up to the A07/107 [ which is an 8x burner ] .. I am sure that soon the A08/108 will get native support too .. for now if you want the A08 or any other DVD burner [ I think there might be one or 2 Sony drives that can be supported but not sure ] you'll need to use patchburn which you can find at patchburn.de ..

yes, I have the pioneer in my 733mhz g4 ... I really like it, dvd burning is flawless, initialize time is FAST.. no problems at all so far.
