I have recently been having an occurring problem with my optical drive on Mac Pro. The first time the drive stopped recognizing burnt DVDs and eventually brought DVDs. Changing the drive seemed to solve the problem.
However one month later a similar problem has occurred. When I try to burn a DVD with DVD Studio Pro, from the Desktop or with Toast the error code 0x80020020042 is given.
I tried rebooting which hasn't changed a think.
The problem may have something to do with the DVD player or Studio pro as it started when a disk was automatically launched by the DVD player after burning is DVD studio pro
Help would greatfully received. Please don't baffle me with too much tech talk
