DVD Burning Help!

Hi guys, so i have this 12GB .mkv video file on my mbp, I want to burn it onto a dvd with the best quality possible. What application should i use, and what would be the best way to do this?

dvd issue

MPEG Filmclip software is free for mac and then you can convert it to
a DV file then use it on iMovie and then iDVD then burn it on a DVD.
You need to convert it and this software does just that
