DVD Burning Software?

I have Toast Titanium 12 on my mac and for the most part I love it. However when I burn a .mkv/x246 video file to dvd a lot of time the audio and video are out of sync. I HATE watching a movie out of sync, is there an adjustment on Toast I can make to fix this or is there a better program?

You have Toast 12?? Is it a beta because I know the latest version out now is at 11
