I am new to macs, so far so good I have neverburned dvds before tho, there so many types of DVD media, which should I use.

If I am burning movie files from my macbook pro for play on my mum pc... anything I should take note of? How many gigs is a DVD usually can I squeeze a few in there? Do I just drag and burn what software should I use?

THANKS

Depends on if you want to burn the movies as video or data. A video DVD can hold only a few hours (and the movies have to be in the right format) but can be played in a standard DVD player. If you just want to play the movies on a computer (not a DVD player), burn it as data (DVD capacity is 4.7 GiB) and probably give her VLC. As far as disc-burning software is concerned, I highly recommend Burn.
