dvd burning

Thanks very much for the help in the previous thread that I started. Again, I'm well pleased with my pb, find it far more practical than my pc at work.

However, I'm not sure what apps or software I should be using to copy and burn dvds. My gf has been bugging me for ages to burn her a couple of the movies that we've bought, however I haven't a clue where to start. Is this, presumably, something that I can do with iDVD? Is there something similar to iTunes where I can import and then burn?

If it's a commercial DVD you can't legally copy it to give to somebody else.

That said, there are plenty of threads in the forum on how to make backups of DVD's you have purchased.
