I am looking at either a Lightscribe printer or a DVD/CD printer. I currently use labels but I think that may be causiing some problems with the discs benig read. My question, what is the a good one to buy? I want to use the printer for 6-8 wedding DVDs that I do per year and I am clueless to what is good and what stuff is not good. Thanks!

Lightscribe printer? You mean Lightscribe DVD drive? And internal or external?

For DVD/CD printing your only choice is Epson in North America. Canon sells DVD printing inkjets elsewhere. You can modify a US model Canon with parts off eBay if you really want a Canon. Often Canon DVD printers are on eBay as well. Those are your options for one off printing.

I have an iMac so it would need to be something external if i go with Lightscribe.

Are the Epson printers any good (besides being ink hogs)?

Thanks!

I had an Epson R200 that printed on DVDs. Didn't like it at all, the final product had kind of a "soft blur" effect.
