I really don't need all the info that goes along with most apps I've seen that catalog my movies. I simply want a list by name on my iphone 4. Does such a creature exist?

I know on the client side you can customize the listing to how ever you want. I would email the site and ask. I wouldn't be surprised if you can do just this.
Another one to look at is:
dvd profiler. However it isn't an app (that I know of) but you used to be able to just list the names of your movies etc. I haven't looked into dvd profiler in a very long time....
