Hello everyone!

Currently, for my DVD backing up purposes, I've been copying the films in handbrake and then converting to dvd levels/burning within toast. is there a way to streamline the process, simply copying the dvds straight from toast?

---yes, I understand this'll take some trickeration on my part, I'm not new to that sort of thing.

Toast won't copy DVDs directly due to the copy protection, but you can do it in two steps. Use MacTheRipper to copy the DVD to your hard drive, then use Toast's "DVD from VIDEO_TS" option to copy it back onto a new DVD. If you have Toast 7, it'll automatically handle all the compression.
