Dvd-d & Dvi - I

I'm sorta confused about about all this.

I'm looking to buy an external monitor, and most are DVI-D connections.

I want to buy a mini displayport, but monoprice's and Apples differ:

Monoprice:

Apple:

Would the monoprice one support DVI-I & D, single link and dual link?

I'd buy from monoprice if this is the case...

DVI-D can only output digital signal

DVI-A can only output analog signal

DVI-I can output both, digital and analog signal

DVI-I is the best

Apple's is DVI-D and Monoprice's is DVI-I. Monoprice one will support DVI-A, DVI-D, single link and dual link, I think
