Hi guys, can anyone help me with this problem? It's only started happening in the last week but my warranty has ran out. What solutions are there other than having a tech guy pull the machine apart?
Too bad you don't have AppleCare. The SuperDrive in my mid-2007 iMac started doing this, too. The replacement cost, including labor, of $446 was completely covered by AppleCare.
