dvd drive in parallel not working

every time i try running NERO or any other DVD burning software on parallel 5.0 it keeps telling me no dvd driver available ..... only ISO will be created ... is there a easy fix to this? .. i want to write DVDs in windows vista on my mac but i think windows doesn't find the DVD driver cause its tied up by mac OSX

using parallel 5 on Snow
