Why did :apple: choose to place the dvd drive in the Unibody Macbook Pro on the top right side instead of the front?

because that's how the macbook's have them and it made the whole lineup look more uniform with one another, they wanted to show off their new manufacturing process with the light sliver along the front too without burdening it with a huge dvd slot.

O , ok thanks, that makes sense!

Also as Apple they only want 1 cover; and the only way to do that is to move the battery and HDD to the bottom and the SD to the top. I don't really see people replacing their SD that much oppose to the HDD.
